St. James House is a large, imposing Grade II listed building, situated
overlooking St. James Green, which is a conservation area, and which is the the
most attractive and desirable residential part of Thirsk.
Car parking is available off-road as shown directly in front of
the building, which is set back from the road, separated by the
green.
St. James House is very close to all local facilities.
St. James House is very well furnished, with the
dining and lounge areas displaying several period items. The bedrooms are warm
and comfortable, with ample space and storage. There is a house bathroom and
some en-suite facilities. St. James House is a non-smoking establishment.

The dining area has an interesting collection of
dining furniture, cabinets and a grandfather clock, with paintings,
prints and photographs displayed around the walls. Guests are
assured of a warm, friendly welcome and large breakfasts.

comfortable seating. The walls and cabinet contain a selection of
fine art items to complement those in the dining room.
Bedrooms are either double bed or twin, with tea
